Producer

After studying literature in Paris, Ahmed Bahaeddine Attia later obtained a diploma in filmmaking بقخو Rome. He worked as aر assistant director from 1968 to 1981 on several films. After directing a few films, he realized he had more to offer as a producer, and thus in 1983 he founded his production company: Cinétéléfilms. Over the course of two decades, he produced around forty films between shorts, features and TV series, starting in 1986 with Nouri Bouzid's debut film The Man of Ashes.
He was director of Carthage Film Festival in 1992 and 1994, and served as a jury member for several international festivals (Namur, Mons, Istanbul, San Sebasti?n, etc). He lectured at various film schools in France, including Fémis. He was active on the Mediterranean level as president of the International Association of Independent Producers of the Mediterranean, and at the African level, as a member of the Pan-African Federation of Filmmakers.
